Cons:

Has had embattled political boss Marc Davenport, accused of sexual abuse, as his consultant.
Former Democrat (now RINO) severly lacking in transparency, who oversees secretive, out-of-control spending which borders on Socialism
Heads up an administration shrouded in secrecy
Developed a Hit List of political opponents
Supported transgender adoption
Secretly campaigned for higher taxes, opposed property tax reform, 20% homestead exemption in Austin meeting
Doyal and 2 Montgomery County commissioners(Charlie Riley and Jim Clark) were indicted on June 24, 2016, on the charge of conspiring to circumvent the Texas Open Meetings Act. While a visiting judge (Randy Clapp of Wharton County) shockingly ruled the TOMA law as unconstitutional, AG Ken Paxton wants charges reinstated . An accelerated deliberation has been set for January 24th, by the 9th Court of Appeals (Beaumont).
*** Breaking *** TOMA Indictments reinstated by 9th Appeals Court. The charge is a Class B misdemeanor, punishable by up to six months in jail, a maximum $500 fine and removal from office.
Craig Doyal’s, Charlie Riley’s Tx-249 Tollway “Bait n’ Switch”: oops, they forgot to mention one item. And they're(Doyal/Riley/Meador) aggressively moving forward in "Advertising for Bids" on 249 even before the final drawings or Revenue Projection Study are done. And a questionable character from TXDot came to advocate on behalf of the 249 Toll Road.
Doyal said “......At some point that road (Woodlands Parkway Extension) will be constructed”

Woodlands Township Vice Chair John McMullan directed comments against Doyal, Rileyl and others on commissioners court with the following..... "Montgomery County does not view The Woodlands as a partner. Montgomery County views The Woodlands as its piggy bank. It is the job of our board for people to stand up and protect our quality of living. This is not personal, but these guys, the Montgomery County Commissioners Court, their record is one of hostility towards The Woodlands."
