Pros

Has a passion for school involvement.
Heavily involved in public schools and CISD PTO in particular, serving as its president.
Very knowledgeable about details throughout the IV process.
Seems to be conservative in general; God centric - Pro-life
Against standardized testing.
Wants more local control, than state or federal, including funding.
Realist in regards to Abbott wanting to raise teachers salaries to $100K
Voted in the 2018 Republican Primary

Cons

Relative unknown to grassroots groups
Seems to be OK w/most of what the district is doing.
Defender of government schools & opposes charter & other schools.
Says she's a "peacemaker" which could be a liability when time to stand on principles.
Concerns that she (initially, at least) supported the 2016 70% Tax Increase Slate of candidates(primarily her friend Amy Lampman). Reliable sources indicated that she's in liberal Mike Bass's Camp, though she maintain's she's only friends with his daughter
While she believes in the 2nd Ammendment, she thinks law enforcement is enought to protect children and is therefore against arming teachers admins
