Pros

  • God-centric lifestyle and college grad w/high honors; aligns w/MCTP PAC Values and will do the right thing
  • Business skills, work ethic and servant’s heart and a desire for full transparency;
  • Though quite and somewhat timid, a fighter for conservative values
  • Elected to HOA - got involved solving local drainage issues due to inaction by county
  • Wants to bring back ethics & integrity to the commissioners' office, which is sorely lacking
  • Proponent of term limits - two (2)
  • Thinks county debt ratio too high - will work towards lowering it.
  • Voted against Statewide Prop 2 allowing counties to use bonds to revitalize areas
  • Though not a resident, correctly assessed TW Incorp election was actually a move to more smaller, self governance
  • Advocates for Zero-based budgeting to control county costs and eliminate "slush funds".
  • Supports requirement that any government entity require a 2/3rds majority to impose any tax increase
  • Believes commissioners are overpaid (at $185,000/year). She believes $125K to $150K is enough.
  • Vehemently against Mask and Vaccine mandates

Cons

  • Seemed not to be totally in tune w/TW incorporation issue since she didn't live there.
  • Doesn't have experience in government (not a politician) but that could be seen as a big plus
  • Naturally reserved and not bold about raising money
