- Nice guy
- His cousin (Mike Meador) is the outgoing commissioner
Cons
- Oddly has reportedly attended very few, if any, commissioner court meetings.
- Really doesn't have a clue about what's going on with the court.
- Has said (in at least the Pachyderm forum) that he's going to go along w/Commissioners' Riley and Metts on their spending sprees.
- Supporter of tax increases to grow county government.
- He believes government plays important role in the county.
- We have a $350 million dollar county budget he believes the government needs every dollar.
- He does not want to lower appraisal on homes(believes everyone should want a high appraisal on their homes).
- Our commissioners are paid more than the Governor. Will not drop salary(wants every penny of his salary).
- Did not have a good showing in Tue. 11/26 Pachyderm Forum.

........County Commissioner candidate Walker remarks to opponent Graff “Man, we are on so different pages”
Walker said (around the 12 min mark) he would not lower his salary because the other commissioners wouldn't like that.
At 15 min, Walker said he "wants a high tax appraisal on his property"?!?! (resluting in higher taxes), equating it as the same as a high market value when one sells their home.
At the 19 min mark, Walker was asked if raises should be given by dept heads on their way to retirement. He had no clue how raises were approved because he hasn't been to Commissioners Court to see how that happens at practically every other meeting.

.... Walker’s Campaign Finance Report starkly different from opponents in Precinct 1 Commissioner’s race.
......."Of Walker’s contributors, $36,150 have addresses outside of Montgomery County. Approximately two-thirds of Walker’s contributors by dollar amount of contribution are individuals who are vendors or do some other form of business regularly with the Montgomery County government.
Nevertheless, the appearance of County government vendors in a gigantic manner is particularly troubling in a campaign where ethics and County government spending are the primary issues."....
