General

Please describe what you believe are the most significant issues in this race, why and what you'll do to address them?

Providing Montgomery County with True Conservative values, which have not happened as the system has been run by single individual and not by the group. I have participated in the distribution of power out through the Republican Party and not centered on one person, the Precinct Chair.

Do you promise, if elected, to abide by the RPT platform? And if not, please enumerate what problems you have.

I am for Republican values, and pledge to work with the Republican Platform to attain its goals and objectives.

What differentiates you from your opponents?

My purpose is for the people of Montgomery County and the Conservatives to have a voice.

What best describes your political ideology most(circle only one).
1.        Republican
2.        Grassroots
3.        Conservative
4.        Tea Party

3. Conservative

Please list 3 federal agencies that are popular in our culture and should be abolished

Should Texas GOP limit their elected officials to 8 years or less from the same office, even though it will force some good candidates to leave an office?

YES

Term limits are a MUST for ALL elected officials.

When you leave office what accomplishment/s do you want to be your hallmark, your legacy, and why?

Montgomery County will be a more transparently operated entity and the elected officials will be held accountable for their actions. Those who are elected and violate the trust of the electorate will be removed from office.

Taxes

What form of federal tax law do you support (e.g., current, flat tax, fair tax, other) and why?

Montgomery County will be a more transparently operated entity and the elected officials will be held accountable for their actions. Those who are elected and violate the trust of the electorate will be removed from office.

A couple of years ago, a resolution was put forth by MoCo GOP to institute a 20% Homestead Exemption.  Did you support or oppose this and why?

YES, we work to provide for homes for our family, to tax that home continuously at full rate will remove people from their homes, effectivly making the home owner a renter from the government.

2nd Amendment - guns

Do you believe the Second Amendment grants an individual right or a militia right?

The 2nd Amendment is an individual right, which is needed for a free society.

10th Amendment

Please explain your interpretation of the Tenth Amendment and the principle of nullification. Do states have a right of nullification? What should the federal government do if a state attempts nullification?

States rights are very important, the ability for each state to accept or deny the over reach of the federal government is a foundation of our constitution and the individualism brought forth in original declaration of independence

Other civil liberty

Do you support or oppose federal funding for Planned Parenthood and other agencies that perform abortions, both in the U.S. and abroad (even if they use money derived from other sources)?

I oppose tax payer funded Planned Parenthood objectives.

At what point should the "right to life" or "personhood" be granted to new human beings (e.g., at conception, birth, 5 days old, etc)? What action, if any, will you take to reflect this in law?

~Not Answered Yet~

Education

Do you support or oppose allowing parents direct the flow of federal education funds (e.g., to their school or home school of choice)? Support? Oppose? Please explain.

I believe that the Federal Government needs to be out of the Education business. It is for the local groups to determine how their children are educated.

Ethics

Do you agree with precinct chairs involvement in republican primaries? Why or why not?

Yes, as someone who has been a registered voter in Montgomery County since 1984, I did not know about precinct chairs until 2017. I see the importance of the position and the need for them to be active for the betterment of the Montgomery County community.

What's your impression of GOP Speaker Dennis Bonnen after he was caught offering a Quid Pro Quo to Empower Texans Michael Quinn Sullivan?  Should Speaker Bonnen resign?  Should he suffer legal ramifications for his action/s?

I do not like how Speaker Bonnen conducted himself.  At this time I do not have enough information to make an intelligent evaluation.

Is there anything in your background of an embarrassing nature that should be explained before your election? Arrests/Convictions? Bankruptcys?

No

Immigration

What, if anything, should be done to protect our borders from illegal immigration?

Boarder Wall, immediate deportation of those that cross illegally.

Amnesty comes in many forms.  What's your view as it pertains to Texas?

Long conversation, amnesty should be extremely limited, if allowed at all.

Transportation

Do you support or oppose the referendum passed by both the MoCo GOP Executive Committee and SREC to allow voters, at the statewide level, to decide in the voting booth whether or not they want a particular toll road?  Why or why not?

I support voter involvement in all major decisions that affect its continuances. We the People must be involved in our lives, we do have elected officials to do part of the work, however, we the people need a say when large projects are going to cost us both tax dollars and daily use dollars. I believe it is one or the other, not both.

Did you take a public position on the May 9, 2015 Road Bond, and if so, what was it? And in a few sentences, explain why.

I was against the May 9. 2019 Road Bond as it was short sighted and did not provide for comprehensive solutions, (i.e. band-aid fix for major surgery problem)

Other

What does being a conservative mean to you?

Holding close to the original meaning of the US Constitution, understanding that the colonies separated from the British government to provide individuals to have a chance to suceed based on that person's efforts, not due to what family they were born into.

Do you support the Montgomery County Republican Party By-Laws as adopted by the CEC on 6/26/18?  And if not, why not?

Yes, I voted for them.
