I have lived in the Magnolia area for 13 years.  I got involved in politics in 2020 as a Trump campaign volunteer.  Then in April of 2021, I became a Precinct Chair for Precinct 89 due to a vacancy.  In March of 2022,  I was a delegate and Nominations Chairman for the Senate District 7 Convention.  I also was a delegate to the 2022 State Convention.  I am a member of the Montgomery County Tea Party, as well as a founding member of the MC Freedom Caucus.   I also support and volunteer for Texans For Vaccine Choice.  I was on the GOTV committee and a volunteer for the Fundraising Committee.  I love volunteering my time to get grassroots conservatives elected to office and fighting for conservative principles.   I am very active at my church, Grace Woodlands and have been a long time volunteer for Back2Basics, a ministry for foster care children.

Questionnaire

General

This is a Republican primary race.  Do you promise, if elected, to abide by the RPT platform? And if not, please enumerate what problems you have.

YES

What best describes your political ideology most(circle only one).
1.        Republican
2.        Grassroots
3.        Conservative
4.        Tea Party

Conservative, but I'm also a grassroots Republican and a member of MC Tea Party

There's discussion about making major revisions to the RPT Platform. Please describe the nature of any major changes you support.

I'm not aware of making major revisions to the RPT platform

Should the county GOP chair be involved with fundraising? Why or why not?

Absolutely!   That's part of growing the party.   Should be someone that's not afraid to ask for donations to the party and knows people with experience fundraising to serve on the Fundraising Committee with him/her  being the chair.

Do you like the Steering Committee style of leadership currently in place or that of just a county chairman?

YES.   The county chair needs to be accountable to the Steering Committee.

Do you think the 'Republican' brand should be used by PACs in their names that may deceive voters? Why or why not?"

NO.   Because having the name "Republican"  as part of a PAC name does deceive voters.     Most voters are not educated enough to know the difference between a Republican Party voter guide or a PAC voter guide with the name Republican in it.

Do you beieve that the county chair/precinct chairs should actively participate in at least one committee?

NO.   Not everyone has the extra time to be on a committee.   There is plenty of volunteering to go around during primary elections and runoffs.  Many precinct chairs volunteer for more than one candidate and participate in "Meet and Greets" and block walking.

Are you willing to put in the time necessary to attend CEC meetings, additional committee meetings, training sessions, blockwalking, etc?

YES.  I already do.

How do you believe precinct chairs should be involved in elections? (election judge, clerk, none?)

I believe precinct chairs should be interacting with voters to get out the vote, passing out voter guides on election day,  inviting them to the precinct convention.   They should also lead the precinct convention or if they can't, find someone else.

What's your position on Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan?

I didn't like the way he handled the democrats leaving a legislative session flying off to DC because they wern't getting their way.  They should have been arrested for their actions.   They held up the Legislature from conducting official business.

Budget

Would you support legislative action to establish a salary framework (possibly related to the Gov. salary) for all taxpayer funded employees with a stipulation that elected officials be required to get voter approval to exceed that framework for their own salaries?

Yes

Other civil liberty

Do you support or oppose federal funding for Planned Parenthood and other agencies that perform abortions, both in the U.S. and abroad (even if they use money derived from other sources)?

Oppose federal funding for Planned Parenthood & other agencies

Education

Do you support or oppose social programs in our schools (like C-Scope, Common Core, CRT, International Baccalaureate, SEL, etc.)? Why or why not?

Oppose.    Quality of education has declined due to these programs.

Ethics

Is there anything in your background of an embarrassing nature that should be explained before your election? Arrests/Convictions? Bankruptcys?

No

At what point should the "right to life" or "personhood" be granted to new human beings (e.g., at conception, sign of heartbeat, 3 months of pregnancy, birth, 5 days old, etc)? What action, if any, will you take to reflect this in law?

Conception.   Support and vote for Pro-Life candidates that believe life starts at conception

Should the county GOP chair be involved in any other political organizations, including PAC's, while serving a term as the chairman? Why or why not?

No.   The chair should be totally focused on growing and maintaing the party, promoting conservatism.  Also accepting applications from local candidates, getting voters to vote, submitting names for election judges, support ballot integrity,  overseeing the CEC, speaking to organized groups and individual voters about the work the County Republican Party is doing and how they can get involved.   Also fundraising for the party,  working with and for the Senate District leadership and overseeing Headquarters.

Immigration

What, if anything, should be done to protect our borders from illegal immigration?

Definitely need closed borders.   Illegals  should be sent back.

Transportation

Do you support or oppose the referendum passed by both the MoCo GOP Executive Committee and SREC to allow voters, at the statewide level, to decide whether or not they want a particular toll road?

Support
