Before moving to Montgomery County, I was employed as a secretary to a commercial real estate developer. In 1999, after the birth of my 3rd child, I made the decision to be a stay at home mom. Our family moved from Houston to Montgomery County in 1997, where we built our home in Lake Windcrest. I have been married to the love of my life for 38 years. God has blessed us with 11 amazing children, one of whom is now in Heaven. I consider being a mother my biggest and most important accomplishment. People ask us all the time, "What were y'all thinking?" or "Don't y'all know what causes that?" Then there's my favorite, "Are y'all trying to populate the earth?" So yes, this pro-life mama bear is raising 10 conservatives. I guess you could say, I'm doing my part to legally swing the vote! The Lord has blessed me with 6 grandkids, so I still have my work cut out for me, trying to grow the party! Unfortunatly,  I no longer have the added benefit of listening to the wisdom of Rush as I drive them around. Dittos forever!

I became active during the 2020 Election as a Trump Campaign volunteer and I formed the Conservatives of Montgomery County ND group that has grown to over 700 members. In 2020, I was a delegate to the MCRPTX County and State Conventions. I became the MCRPTX Chair for Precinct 97 and serve on the fundraising Committee. I am also a pround member of the MCRPTX Tea Party and Eagle Forum, as well as a founding member of the MCRPTX Freedom Caucus.

I am passionate about advancing conservative principles, exposing corruption and working to get conservative candidates elected to office.

Also, the Texas Eagle Forum PAC has given it's official endorsement of the MCTP Recommended candidates for Precinct Chairs, as well as the personal endorsement from Cindi Castilla, President of TEF!!

Questionnaire

General

This is a Republican primary race.  Do you promise, if elected, to abide by the RPT platform? And if not, please enumerate what problems you have.

Yes, I promise to abide by the Republican Party Platform.

What best describes your political ideology most(circle only one).
1.        Republican
2.        Grassroots
3.        Conservative
4.        Tea Party

I'm a far right, grassroots, conservative. The Tea Party was formed as a result of a grassroots, conservative movement opposing the government over reach of the Obama Administration. I share the same principles and values as the Tea Party and I am proud to be a member.  Although I consider myself a lifelong Republican, the Republican Party has become infiltrated with people that don't share Republican values. In reality, they claim to be conservative when running for office as a Republican, but their actions after becoming elected tell a much different story. These RINOS belong in the Democrat Party. They are the Mitt Romneys and Liz Cheneys of the party. They exist at the federal, state and to my surprise the local level. Yes, even conservative Montgomery County is being run by RINOS. They actively undermine the Republican Party Platform. The main reason i'm running for Precinct Chair is get conservative, grassroots candidates elected while exposing RINOS for who they really are. DEMOCRATS!

There's discussion about making major revisions to the RPT Platform. Please describe the nature of any major changes you support.

I oppose making any major revisions or condensing the RPT Platform. All 337 planks have been debated and voted on. The detailed verbage provides much needed clarity.

Should the county GOP chair be involved with fundraising? Why or why not?

Yes, absolutely! The county GOP chair should definitely be involved in fundraising. He is the leader of the party at the local level and it's his job to grow the party as a whole. Fundraising is a big part of that. The County Chairman should remain completely nuetral by refraining from using his position and party resources to advance his favored groups, while suppressing groups that don't agree with his agenda.

Do you like the Steering Committee style of leadership currently in place or that of just a county chairman?

I fully support the leadership style of the Steering Committee, as it's members are elected by the CEC, so it's more representative of the grassroots. For years, the party was run by the County Chairman, who governed from the top down, which was not representative of the people.

Do you think the 'Republican' brand should be used by PACs in their names that may deceive voters? Why or why not?"

I do not agree with PACs using the "Republican" brand in their name as it is deceptive to voters. Since the Republican Party does not endorse in the primary, it is dishonest for PACs that have the word "Republican" in their name, to pass out their voter's guides, as it tricks voters into believing those candidates have the official endorsement of the Republican Party. Many voters are tricked into believing they are voting for the most conservative candidates because the voter's guide has the word "Republican" in it. What the voters don't know is that most of the endorsed candidates have contributed thousands of dollars to theses deceptive PACs, which in turn paid for their own endorsement.

Do you beieve that the county chair/precinct chairs should actively participate in at least one committee?

Yes.

Are you willing to put in the time necessary to attend CEC meetings, additional committee meetings, training sessions, blockwalking, etc?

Yes, I am commited to putting in the extra time and work that is required to be an effective Precinct Chair. I'm not running just to fill a seat. I am running to advance conservative principles, increase conservative voter turnout and to help get GENUINE conservatives elected to office.

How do you believe precinct chairs should be involved in elections? (election judge, clerk, none?)

I do not believe Precint Chairs should be involved with the actual election. The County pays people to train and work the elections. It is the responsibility of the Precinct Chairs to greet and interact with the voters. I do think Precinct Chairs should recruit people to work at the polls. It is the responsibility of the Precinct Chairs to conduct their precinct conventions.

What's your position on Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan?

Speaker Dade Phelan is a big RINO that belongs in the Democrat Party. He did nothing but undermined the Republican Party when he appointed 14 Democrats to serve as committee chairs.

Budget

Would you support legislative action to establish a salary framework (possibly related to the Gov. salary) for all taxpayer funded employees with a stipulation that elected officials be required to get voter approval to exceed that framework for their own salaries?

Yes, taxpayer funded employees work for the people and the voters should decide if they get an increase in salary. I find it horrific that our county commissioners voted to give themselves a raise in the middle of a pandemic.

Other civil liberty

Do you support or oppose federal funding for Planned Parenthood and other agencies that perform abortions, both in the U.S. and abroad (even if they use money derived from other sources)?

I do not support the federal funding of Planned Parenthood or any other agencies that perform abortions. It should also be illegal for these agencies to profit from the sale of fetal tissue and body parts. I support candidates and legislation that protects life from conception through natural death.

Education

Do you support or oppose social programs in our schools (like C-Scope, Common Core, CRT, International Baccalaureate, SEL, etc.)? Why or why not?

I oppose all social programs in our schools as they do nothing but indoctrinate the students with liberal ideology, while undermining parental authority. These social programs go against our party platform. I was shocked to hear our Montgomery County Republican Party Chairman speak in support of the United Nations International Baccalaureate Program because he says teachers have the ability to pick and choose what is taught. This is a lie he is pushing in order to justify his support of IB. The United Nations undermines American sovereignty and traditional family values. The program teaches students to become global citizens instead of American citizens and supports the redistribution of wealth for the common good. By contributing taxpayer money to the UN, we are funding our own demise.

Ethics

Is there anything in your background of an embarrassing nature that should be explained before your election? Arrests/Convictions? Bankruptcys?

While i'm a firm believer in law and order and fiscal responsibility, I don't believe this question should be asked of precinct chairs. In my attempt to recruit conservative precint chairs, I talked to solid conservatives that I knew would make great precinct chairs. One person refused to run because because of a past mistake.  This got me to thinking that we are unknowingly eliminating good, conservative people because they don't want something in their past to be made public. For those candidates running for a taxpayer funded, salaried position, then I believe this question is warranted. Of course, background checks are appropriate, but not the release of personal information for low level, volunteer positions.

At what point should the "right to life" or "personhood" be granted to new human beings (e.g., at conception, sign of heartbeat, 3 months of pregnancy, birth, 5 days old, etc)? What action, if any, will you take to reflect this in law?

It is my belief that life begins at conception and should be protected from conception until natural death. As a Precinct Chair, I will support and work to get pro-life candiates elected as well as supporting and informing constituents on pro-life legislation.

Should the county GOP chair be involved in any other political organizations, including PAC's, while serving a term as the chairman? Why or why not?

The County GOP Chair should not be involved in any political organizations, incluing PACS, while serving a term as chairman. The chairman should serve the entire party and remain completely nuetral to all groups, clubs and pacs.

Immigration

What, if anything, should be done to protect our borders from illegal immigration?

The flood of illegal immigrants coming accross the border is intentional and due to the policies of the Biden Administration. Texas cannot rely on the Federal Government to secure its borders and stop illegal immigration.  It is up to Texas to finish the wall and provide its own border security. I support LEGAL immigration, not amnesty.

Transportation

Do you support or oppose the referendum passed by both the MoCo GOP Executive Committee and SREC to allow voters, at the statewide level, to decide whether or not they want a particular toll road?

The voters should decide if they want a paticular toll road, instead of it being forced upon them by government officials. Once a toll road is paid in full, then the tolls need to be eliminated, thus removing this financial burden from citizens.

Other

What does being a conservative mean to you?

Conservatisim means upholding the original intent, ideals and principles of our founding documents, the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. These documents were intended to serve as a strict guidebook to protect freedom that is granted by God and not man. Over the years, government has diluted the intent of these documents to the point that it has become increasingly irrelevant and now is completely disregarded by the current administration.

Restoring conservative principles and growing the conservative movement is our only hope. It personally means to me, the love of God and Country, protecting all stages of life, traditional family values, and personal responsibility. It means fighting for freedom and our economic system of capitalism. It means taking a stand against a corrupt government that has every intention of destroying America from within. Conservatism means not compromising your principles by standing up for what is right and taking action to expose corruption. It means working tirelessly to get likeminded, conservatives candidates elected to office.
