Major Issues
1. The nearly $700 million indebtedness of the city caused, in part, by certain candidates.
2. The errant decision by some candidates to bind the City as owner to a major hotel (Hyatt) to the tune of nearly $140 million.
3. Question of whether or not some candidates followed the law in their application for office.The local district court and 9th court of appeals didn't think it was major enough and gave them a pass.
4. Whether or not the voters of Conroe will wake up to what's going on in their city or pay the consequences.
